We Are Water MN
Hoċokata Ṫi is proud to host the We Are Water MN statewide traveling exhibit, October 10 through December 7, 2024. The free exhibit explores our connection to water through stories and experiences from communities throughout Minnesota—and invites visitors to contribute their own water stories.
Organized by the Minnesota Humanities Center in conjunction with other state agencies, the exhibit also examines water issues statewide and in local communities through personal stories, histories, and scientific information. It strengthens Minnesotans’ relationships with water, exposes visitors to new perspectives, and increases participation in water stewardship activities.
Stay tuned for special opportunities to engage with the exhibit during its stay at Hoċokata Ṫi. Public events in October and November will offer visitors fun and educational activities that will bring the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community’s environmental initiatives to life.
