During this open house, the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community’s (SMSC) Land and Natural Resources Department will share information about its efforts to safeguard our water and host several family-friendly activities, including:

• Sample water from several different sources
• Learn about water flow in an augmented reality sandbox
• Create a dugout canoe from clay
• View the geological history of the area through a stratigraphic column, a new display at Hoċokata Ṫi
