We Are Water Event: Water Stewardship
During this open house, the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community’s (SMSC) Land and Natural Resources Department will share information about its efforts to safeguard our water and host several family-friendly activities, including:
- Sample water from several different sources
- Learn about water flow in an augmented reality sandbox
- Create a dugout canoe from clay
- View the geological history of the area through a stratigraphic column, a new display at Hoċokata Ṫi
