The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC), through its Understand Native Minnesota campaign, is hosting two free Educator Academy events on February 21 and March 14. These one-day events offer professional development workshops to introduce K-12 educators to a variety of ways to teach Native American topics in classroom settings.<\/p>\r\n
